1. Rent farmland for a family to cultivate, provide seedlings and training on modern farming methods. After the harvest the family is able to earn an income that can support them for 5-7 months.
2. Sponsor a child’s education for $50 every month.
3. Skill a woman, who has no education since many girls are predisposed to early marriage. Wachae Initiative we skill girls with tailoring, hair dressing, baking, computer skills, soap making among others , so they can earn an income yeing these skills for a life time.
4. Help to end menstraul poverty. Wachae Initiative we are training girls in rural areas to make reusable sanitary towels. Girls from homes that cannot afford monthly sanitary pads experience stigma in schools , they are traumatized by the stigma and drop out of school earlier than they hoped .
